Dyke's End

Located in the centre of the village, overlooking the green, this pub was saved from closure by villagers in the 1990s. They ran it as a co-operative until 2003, when it was bought by Frank Feehan, who further refurbished and extended it. Frank's additions included the Devil's Dyke micro-brewery, which continues to be run by new owners Catherine and George Gibson, who took over in 2012. The pub has a strong local following for its food and beers. The menu is seasonal with daily-changing specials, although pub favourites like beer-battered haddock and steak frites are always popular.
