The Leicester Arms

A large and picturesque country inn at the centre of a picturesque village, The Leicester Arms stands in its own pretty gardens looking out over the River Medway. It was once part of the Penshurst Place estate. The wood-panelled dining room is worth a visit for the views over the weald and river alone. Dishes range from traditional pub food in the bar to the likes of pressed pork belly with crackling, chicken curry, or Moroccan vegetable tagine from the carte menu.
