The Red Lion

This engaging inn was the village fire station until a century or so ago, and many artefacts remain from that. Hunker down with a pint of Black Sheep, tuck in to hearty pub grub like home-made lamb hotpot, or take on the locals at darts or dominoes. This is a thriving community local where visitors to the nearby Delamere Forest or Oulton Park motor-racing circuit can also bed down in the en suite accommodation here. Out the back there is an enclosed beer garden with smoking shelter.
