Loch Leven Hotel
Old Ferry Road,
NORTH BALLACHULISH,
PH33 6SA
The slipway into Loch Leven at the foot of the garden recalls the origins of this 17th century inn as one staging point on the old ferry linking the Road to The Isles. This extraordinary location, near the foot of Glencoe and with horizons peppered by Munro peaks rising above azure sea lochs, is also gifted with superb seafood from the local depths; such as scampi and haddock, or indulge in a chunky lamb Celtic casserole. Sip beers from Cairngorm Brewery or a wee dram from a choice of over 75 malts, making the best of the sun terrace which must have one of Scotland's most idyllic views.

excellent friendly staff and entertaining locals please note you can find your way to the hotel quicker by NOT taking the B 863 to Kinlochleven as some satnavs say from north take turning immediately before bridge, if you find yourself on a farm track you're going the WRONG WAY
