Godolphin Arms

MARAZION, nr Penzance, TR17 0EN

Standing atop the sea wall at the end of the causeway to St Michael's Mount, there are superb views across the bay from the traditional bar, restaurant and beer terrace of the Godolphin Arms. The sea is so close that it splashes at the windows in winter as you watch the fishing boats returning with their catch. Seafood from the Newlyn fish market is listed on the daily specials board; crab in particular is a speciality. Other options include traditional pub favourites like bangers and mash, or sample a Cornish cream tea in the afternoon. The Goldolphin offers Cornish ales and ciders.
