Typical mains are tortellini with pesto, rocket and Parmesan; Thai chicken curry; farmhouse cheese and tomato chutney tart; or chilli con carne. The wood-panelled lounge bar is furnished with leather Chesterfields and there are large gardens to enjoy in summer with a children's playground and petanque pitch.

A most excellent public house and good a place to eat. The most exciting thing about this place is that it improves with every visit. A business that seems to be aware that innovation is the only way to success. Traditional yet modern. Free wireless Internet. I give it a 5 but the management are working towards a 6 or higher.
