The Globe Inn

The arrival of a new chef has enhanced the good local reputation for food and drink at this friendly beamed village pub in the estuary village of Lympstone. Well-kept Bass, Otter and London Pride are the ales on offer in the bar, while the menu offers traditional dishes such as lambs' liver, bacon and onion; home-made fish pie and seafood platters to share. On Sundays, landlady Sheila's traditional roasts are especially popular. Occasional music nights and Tuesday is quiz night.
