A small, cosy one room pub, big on sports like football, rugby and cricket. It is also the closest pub to the Wimbledon tennis championships. Lighter meals take in platters, cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches like salt beef, jacket potatoes and salads. More substantial meals are cassoulet; Cumberland sausages, mash and rich onion gravy; chilli con carne; and lambs' liver, streaky bacon, bubble and squeak and black pudding. The pub's ploughman's is a 'big feast' for one person so it might be ideal for sharing.
