The Queens Head Inn

A beautiful family-run former coaching inn with open fires, exposed beams and one of only two remaining full-length settles in England. Very much at the centre of the local community, the pub runs darts and football teams and pétanque competitions; a large beer garden with bouncy castle confirms its family-friendly credentials. The kitchen aims to produce good home-made pub grub at realistic prices, with a menu of popular favourites from pizzas to pies, ciabattas to curries.
