The Stork Inn

The Stork is a white-painted coaching inn spread along the banks of the Conder Estuary, with a colourful 300-year-history that includes several name changes. The quaint sea port of Glasson Dock is a short walk along the Lancashire Coastal Way, and the Lake District is easily accessible. In the bar you will find local ales such as Lancaster Amber and Blonde. Seasonal specialities join home-cooked English and South African food like pan-fried chicken breast topped with Lancashire cheese and bacon; Boerewors - lightly spiced pure beef farmer's sausage, served with sweet potato mash and a balsamic, red onion and tomato relish; and minted pea risotto.
