Flagged floors, a black-leaded range and oak beams are amongst the many charming original features at this 16th-century former farmhouse. The renovated building, which is handy for Dartmoor and the English Riviera towns, also boasts a high-vaulted converted barn with a minstrels' gallery. Lunchtime snacks include toasties, wraps and baguettes, while the main menu features plenty of traditional pub favourites all washed down with a pint of Tanglefoot or Badger First Gold. A most pleasant place for an informal lunch or evening meal. Delightful staff and for a Devon pub, excellent food at a reasonable price. Will return soon.

what a credit to Hall and Woodhouse. fantastic staff, outstanding food. we went for the first time over the bank holiday and the only thing that we are sorry about is the fact that we have not been sooner. its a gem.

Booked a family party at The Barn Owl and I cant say enough about them, Staff so friendly and helpfull!! Food excellent and great value for money! Such a lovely atmosphere and a very clean pub! Superb!!!
