Eyre Arms

HASSOP, Bakewell, DE45 1NS

Formerly a farmstead and 17th-century coaching inn, this traditional ivy-clad free house has been run with courtesy and pride by the same family for seventeen years. Views of rolling Peak District countryside from the secluded garden can only be improved with a pint of Bakewell Best in hand, brewed on the nearby Chatsworth estate. Oak settles, low ceilings and cheery log fires create a cosy atmosphere, ideal surroundings for enjoying a rabbit pie cooked with cider and bacon from the specials board.
