The Bunch of Carrots
HAMPTON BISHOP,
Hereford,
HR1 4JR
Named after a rock formation in the River Wye that runs beside this family-friendly free house, the pub's interior boasts real fires, old beams and flagstone floors. Outside there's a garden and children's play area, making this an ideal place in which to sample a pint of Wye Valley Bitter. The extensive menu of pub favourites offers baguettes and hand-cut sandwiches as well as hot dishes like fish pie and peas; or slow roast belly pork and crackling. There's also a daily specials board, carvery and children's menu.

Visited this pub whilst on holiday. Thought the pub itself was charming and full of character. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food menu was good. We had great starters and the carvery was excellent, all freshly prepared and piping hot all exceptional value for money, we couldn't fault it.

There menu led us there fresh local produce and in reality what was served up was no more than a tribute to aunt bessies pre cooked stodge! Covered in cinniman! Whilst surroundings very nice unfortunatly the food could not back it up and cost £9.50 nearly the same as the castle pool house.
