The Dobermann Inn

The Street, FRAMSDEN, IP14 6HG

Previously called The Greyhound, this pretty country pub was renamed by its current proprietor, a prominent breeder and judge of Dobermanns. The thatched roofing, gnarled beams, open fire and assorted furniture reflect its 16th-century origins. With a selection of Adnams ales on offer and Mauldons Dickens Bitter, food ranges from sandwiches, hearty ploughman's and salads to main courses featuring plenty of fish and vegetarian choices. Reliable favourites include chilli con carne, spicy nut loaf, Dover sole, and steak and mushroom pie.
