The Sussex Brewery

Traditional values rule in this 17th-century pub with sawdust covered floors, real ales and open fires. It is set in the picturesque village of Emsworth, renowned for its annual food festival in September. The menu includes a large variety of sausages, from Cumberland and Lincolnshire to Cajun and Mexican (there's a good choice for vegetarians too). Other dishes include crispy whitebait with a lemon and dill mayonnaise; and an open lamb burger with freshly cut chips, tsatziki and a tomato and onion salad.
