Bert's Bar

Although it has changed names a few times, Bert's has been a popular Edinburgh watering hole since the 1930s. Popular with rugby fans, it retains many of its original features although the food and drink offering is thoroughly modern. Enjoy a well-kept pint of Deuchars or Thistly Cross cider or order from a broad menu that offers plenty of choice. Start, perhaps, with local smoked salmon and move on to beef steak pie; Cajun chicken; curry of the day or the more traditional haggis, neeps and tatties.
