The Greyhound Inn

This classic pub set beneath the ruins of Corfe Castle warmly welcomes all-comers, children and pets. Its large sun-drenched garden with views of Swanage Steam Railway is a highly-prized spot for the sampling of a summer pint of Hop Back. Food is served all day, so it's popular with nearby campsites, but fresh seasonal produce is nonetheless the kitchen's priority, appearing in dishes such as hearty Dorset game pie; and Dorset baby back ribs in sticky barbecue sauce. Six food festivals are hosted throughout the year, as well as a beer festival on the August Bank Holiday weekend.
