The Church House Inn

Church Street, BOLLINGTON, SK10 5PY

After a gap of eight years, Julie and Steve Robinson are back at this stone-built free house dating from Bollington's days as a cotton-milling village. Its exposed beams and log fires look just the part for a traditional village local, whose varied menu includes home-made soup, home-made sausages and pies, and other time-honoured British favourites. Vegetarian options feature on the daily specials board, and there's a good-value senior citizens' menu. A pint of Adnams will go down well in the small enclosed beer garden.
