Description

The Wheatsheaf , licensed as a coaching inn during the 17th century, stands in the picturesque village of Betws-Yn-Rhos opposite the famous twin towered church of St Michael. The inn has plenty of historic character with splendid oak beams adorned with brasses, stone pillars and plenty of cosy, old world charm. Bar snacks are served in addition to the restaurant menu where choices range from local Welsh Black beef steaks or pork medallions with black pudding and Stilton sauce, to a house speciality: Welsh lamb joint slow roasted with rosemary and thyme.
