Home Emergency Cover
A benefit of our buildings insurance policy, home emergency cover provides the peace of mind that comes with knowing you're covered in the event of many household emergencies.
Our emergency helpline is available 24-hours a day and we'll pay for labour charges up to £70 (including VAT) and for materials up to £100 (including VAT) to cover an emergency service following an insured event.
Events covered by home emergency cover
- Burst or blocked pipes
- Blocked drains
- Damage to your water or heating system
- Removal of wasp, bee or hornet nests
- Roof damage which affects the security of your home
- Roof damage where there's a likelihood of flooding
- Damage to doors, bricks or windows which affects the security of your home
- Making your home safe following a fire or burglary
How to make a home emergency cover claim
If an insured event takes please call 0845 070 1298 and we'll try to find a suitable repairer.
