Home Accident Plan

An accident at home could result in a serious injury or a stay in hospital. Home Accident Plan provides up to £25,000 cover for a serious injury and a daily cash allowance if you have to spend time in hospital following an accident at home.

About this cover Home Accident Plan
What's covered? Up to £25,000 cover per accident for:

  • accidental death*
  • loss of a limb or limbs
  • loss of an eye or eyes
  • loss of hearing
  • loss of speech
  • permanent total disablement
    (which prevents the insured person from doing paid work again)
Hospital cash benefit Receive £200 a week (£28.57 a day) for a stay in hospital. Payable for up to 180 days.
Who's covered? You, your family, visitors and people who live with you on a permanent basis. Cover is available up to the age of 75.
Where are accidents covered? Accidents that happen in your home or garden, in outbuildings, or while working on the boundary of your home, are all covered.

* If an insured person is under 16 years of age, accidental death cover is £5,000.
