Motor Legal Protection

With Motor Legal Protection you receive legal assistance to recover uninsured losses if you're involved in a motor accident where the other party is clearly to blame.

The cover provides up to £50,000 in legal costs to recover uninsured losses such as:

  • your AA Car Insurance Policy excess
  • the cost of essential alternative transport
  • a loss of earnings
  • reasonable out of pocket expenses
  • the cost of repairing the insured vehicle (or its market value where the insurance is not comprehensive)
  • damages for personal injuries sustained in the accident where the loss occurred

Motor Legal Protection also provides a personal legal helpline which gives you access to expert advice on personal legal matters (see below for more information).
