Located between the villages of Windermere and Bowness, this family-run hotel sits in an elevated position with excellent views of the lake and surrounding landscape. Service from the dedicated team is warm and friendly with nothing being too much trouble. Bedrooms and bathrooms are well equipped, some of the larger rooms have excellent views and feature bathrooms with a roll top bath and walk-in showers. Afternoon tea in the cosy lounge area is popular for guests and visitors alike while a daily changing dinner menu offers a very good range of well prepared local ingredients.
