Built in the mid 19th century by parliamentarian and landowner Lord John Tollemache and now lovingly cared for by The Naylor Family, this Grade I medieval-style castle has been sympathetically renovated to provide high standards of comfort without losing original charm and character. Bedrooms and public areas retain many period features, and dining in the 1851 Restaurant is a memorable experience. There is a falconry centre at the castle.
