This well-established hotel is on the edge of town and set in attractive gardens. A friendly and relaxed atmosphere prevails and the many returning guests have become friends. Bedrooms, including superior rooms in the annexe, are generally spacious and thoughtfully equipped. We booked several weeks ago for 3 nights Fri-Sun payed full rate £95 per night No discounted 'sleep over deal' as stated on web site was offered when we arrived. Adjustable shower in bath room was a joke and useless! Our room was above kitchen with its clatter and its noisy extractor. my wife discovered when using her curlers that they had sealed off one of the twin power sockets below the dressing table We were locked out of the car park at 10:30 despite sign saying 11:30PM
