A moorland course with undulating fairways. Four par 3 holes with an 8th hole of 249yds regarded as the hardest par 3 in Yorkshire. The three par 5s may be reachable on a good day in two strokes but in adverse conditions will take more than three. Smaller than average greens on some holes, which makes for accurate second shots.
