Interesting heathland course with rock outcrops, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with spectacular views of the Lake District hills and Morecambe Bay. It is a course of two halves, being either open fairways or tight hilly limestone valleys. The 13th hole has been described as one of Britain's 100 extraordinary golf holes.

Excellent course of two halves, wide open fairways to the last 8 holes along narrow valleys and heathland. Wonderful views, good greens, an enjoyable day out. Friendly staff.
