Royal Dornoch Golf Club

The championship course is rated among the world's top courses and is a links of rare subtlety. It appears amicable but proves very challenging in play with stiff breezes and tight lies. It is wild and isolated with a pure white sandy beach dividing it from the Dornoch Firth and has hosted golfers since 1616. It was granted a Royal Charter by King Edward VII in 1906.
