Mountain Lakes & Castell Heights

Blaengwynlais, CAERPHILLY, CF83 1NG

The nine-hole Castell Heights course within the Mountain Lakes complex was established in 1982 on a 45-acre site. In 1988 a further 18-hole course, Mountain Lakes was designed by Bob Sandow to take advantage of 160 acres of mountain heathland, combining both mountain-top golf and parkland. Most holes are tree-lined and there are 20 lakes as hazards. Host to major PGA tournaments.
