East Devon Golf Club

Links Rd, BUDLEIGH SALTERTON, EX9 6DG

An interesting course with downland turf, much heather and gorse, and superb views over the bay. Laid out on cliffs 250 to 400 feet above sea level, the early holes climb to the cliff edge. The downhill 17th has a heather section in the fairway, leaving a good second to the green. In addition to rare orchids, the course is home to an abundance of wildlife including deer and peregrine falcons.
