Utilising the aesthetics and hazards of a former quarry, a valley, stone walls and spinneys of trees, the course is a stern challenge but one always in tip top condition, due in summer to the irrigation and in winter to the natural draining land upon which it is situated. Par 3s from 120 to 220yds, dog-legs which range from the gentle to the brutal and a collection of natural obstacles and hazards add to the charm of the layout.
