Description

One of the UK's premier festivals, the Reading Festival returns to Richfield Avenue with guitar-heavy rock spread across six stages. This year promises to be a sun-drenched sonic inferno with 2009 headliners Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead and Kings of Leon.Supporting on the main stage are The Prodigy, Bloc Party and Kaiser Chiefs. Topping the bill on the NME/Radio 1 Stage are The Gossip, Lostprophets and Faith No More while the Lock Up Stage has punky bands Rise Against, Billy Talent and Anti-Flag.

Newer names and odder angles can be found at the Festival Republic, BBC Introducing and Alternative stages. The festival's fully equipped campsite is open from Thursday until midday on Monday.
