Running alongside the adult event, the Book It! Children's Book Festival in Cheltenham presents the best of youth literature to a new audience. It also brings together favourites, old and new, for the delight of kids (and their parents).While the grown-ups take part in their own activities, kids can enjoy a programme devoted to book-lovers from the age of three upwards. Parents are invited to the family events, which feature some of the country's enduringly popular children's novelists.
The likes of Paddington, Peter Rabbit, Spot, Barbie and Mog are all brought to life at readings, while older children can also enjoy design and magic workshops.
