The BBC Good Food Show Scotland returns to Glasgow's SECC. Top masterchefs such as Antony Worrall Thompson bring a touch of celebrity to proceedings, to offer tips for cooking first-timers or seasoned practitioners.
Showcasing the best in Scottish produce from fish and seafood to game and whisky, the event highlights the great variety and quality of consumables available in Scotland. It's not all deep-fried mars bars up north you know!
Celebrity chefs offer cooking masterclasses aimed at those of all abilities and the large marketplace provides foodies with a wealth of wallet-tempting produce and kitchen hardware. And there's no surprise that BBC's MasterChef programme is represented not only be appreances by presenters John Torode and Gregg Wallace, but also guest chefs.
