The car

All AA instructors use a dual-control Ford Focus as their tuition car. For a medium-sized car, it has an impressively spacious interior with excellent legroom and headroom.

Air conditioned with power-assisted steering, it's easy to control and manoeuvre and has a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating (Euro NCAP tests, 2005), making it the safest car in its class for occupant safety.
