ST DAVIDS, SA62 6PE
These extensive and impressive ruins are all that remain of the principal residence of the Bishops of St Davids. The palace shares a quiet valley with the cathedral, which was almost certainly built on the site of a monastery founded in the 6th century by St David. There are two permanent exhibitions: the Lords of the Palace and Life in the Palace of a Prince of the Church.
