The National Railway Museum is the world's largest railway museum. From record breakers to history makers the museum is home to a vast collection of locomotives, carriages and wagons, including The Royal Trains, a replica of Stephenson's Rocket, the Japanese Bullet Train and the elegant Mallard. With three enormous galleries, interactive exhibits and daily events, the National Railway Museum mixes education with fun. 2013 celebrates the 75th anniversary of Mallard's world speed record.
