Newtown Old Town Hall

Town Lane, NEWTOWN, PO30 4PA

Write a review

The small, now tranquil, village of Newtown once sent two members to parliament and the Town Hall was the setting for often turbulent elections. This historic building contains exhibits on local history including the exploits of 'Ferguson's Gang', a mysterious group of anonymous benefactors. There are splendid views across unspoilt countryside to the town and footpaths leading to the nearby estuary. Regular art and photographic exhibitions.
