Write a reviewWhitchurch Silk Mill is idyllically located on the River Test, and is the oldest working silk mill in Britain, still weaving in its original building. Fine silks and ribbons are still woven for interiors, churches and costume dramas. See the 19th-century waterwheel pounding and learn about winding, warping and have a go at hand weaving. There is a programme of exhibitions, workshops and children's activities.
