Write a reviewA mile-long scenic journey through a period street to open countryside with panoramic views. You can enjoy unlimited vintage tram rides, and the exhibition hall houses the largest collection of vintage electric trams in Britain. The George Stephenson Discovery Centre opened in 2011. The village street contains a bar and restaurant, tearooms, a sweet shop, ice cream shop, and police sentry box, among others. There is also a Workshop Viewing Gallery where you can see the trams being restored. Ring for details of special events.
