Courthouse

LONG CRENDON, Aylesbury, HP18 9AN

Write a review

One of the finest examples of early timber-framed building in the area, the Courthouse was probably built as a wool store in the early 1400s. It was also used as a manorial courthouse until the late 19th century, and still stands out, even in this picturesque village. Although the windows and doors have been altered and the chimney stack is Tudor, the magnificent timber roof is original.
