Truckers' Route Planner
We now offer a new Route Planner service to enable you and your customers to produce routes which avoid height, weight and width restrictions in Great Britain.
As well as avoiding restrictions, the routes that are provided by this service will have a bias toward main roads. This means that you won't get a route that takes you through town centres or back-streets.
So your fleet of drivers can avoid potential delays, and the ultimate disasters – a bridge strike or a vehicle stuck on a narrow lane.
You can personalise the route by selecting various 'via' points as well as routes that avoid motorways, toll roads and congestion charging.
The new service from the AA will be supplied as an xml feed, and once integrated into your website or company software you can create routes which avoid all height, weight and width restrictions.
The xml feed will enable you to set up a fully customisable routeing service which has a unique 'look and feel', or one that is in keeping with the rest of your website.
