Need to claim?
If we can't complete repairs at the roadside, your car will be taken to a garage to finish the repair work. Our claims team can talk to the garage on your behalf, so you don't have to get involved with the technical details. And we'll even arrange to pay the breakdown repair bill directly with the garage.

Important
- For a claim to be considered you must call the AA for breakdown assistance.
- Once you've nominated a vehicle for Breakdown Repair Cover, you'll need to keep it serviced in line with the manufacturer's recommendations. Servicing must be done by a suitable garage business.
- A claim on your Breakdown Repair Cover cannot be for any faults that occur during the first 14 days of cover. If you change your vehicle you will also not be able to claim for 14 days after making the change.
