Recovery to a destination of your choice within the UK if the AA are unable to fix your car at the roadside or arrange a prompt local repair.
Home Start
1 in 4 breakdowns occur at or near home and Home Start provides assistance in these situations.
Stay Mobile
If you've broken down and the AA cannot arrange a prompt local repair, Stay Mobile provides alternative travel arrangements.
Parts and labour
Breakdown Repair Cover helps cover costs for replacement parts and garage labour following a breakdown attended by the AA.

Make sure you and your passengers are safe in the event of a car breakdown.
If you've broken down and need roadside assistance, please contact the AA using the number on your membership card.
We aim to fix your car by the roadside. If that's not possible:
- with roadside assistance we'll tow you home or to the nearest suitable repairer, whichever is closest
- if you've chosen the breakdown recovery option Relay, we'll take you and up to seven passengers to your chosen destination within the UK
- if you've chosen the breakdown cover option Stay Mobile, we'll put you up at a hotel or pay for your onward travel to your chosen destination within the UK

Don't have AA Membership?
If you break down and you're not a Member you can still call us. You can join the AA on the spot, although you'll need to pay a small supplement to your Membership fee. While you won't be able to take advantage of any joining offers and discounts, you will be able to take advantage of any AA Member benefits after you join.
