Situated in the picturesque village of Woolsthorpe in the unspoilt Vale of Belvoir, the Chequers Inn is a quintessentially English inn dating from the 17th century. It has roaring fires in the winter and a well-maintained garden for alfresco dining in the summer. The snug and bar was once the original village bakery. Bedrooms are situated in the adjacent stables and are tastefully decorated. Good food is served in the bar and in the restaurant.
