Rockside was built in 1847 from Lakeland stone, and is owner-managed by Martin and Caroline. They have modernised the building to provide all mod cons, yet retained many of the original features. Situated at the head of the village, Rockside is a two minute walk from local transport links, restaurants, pubs and shops, and only 20 minutes' walk from Lake Windermere. Breakfast offers a range of options for all tastes, from a substantial full breakfast to lighter bites and vegetarian alternatives, all prepared with quality local produce and served with home-made marmalade and jams.
