Portland House is an impressive property, dating in part to the 17th century, and situated in the picturesque Wye Valley. Comfortable bedrooms include a large family room, an accessible bedroom on the ground floor, and a four-poster suite. All have a thoughtful range of extras. Walkers can use the Boot Room and guests have use of the laundry, the terrace garden area, and the attractive lounge. Breakfast, with home-made bread and up to eight kinds of home-made preserve, is served around the shared dining table, or at a separate table in the cosy elegant dining room. With prior arrangement, evening meals can be provided.
