Situated in the heart of Devon, this former mill house is as picturesque as it can be, complete with thatch and a babbling brook. The grounds are spectacular, with around 10 acres of woodland and pasture, and the welcome is just as impressive; a cream tea in the garden is offered on arrival. The comfortable bedrooms offer quality and individuality and include a separate, self-contained suite away from the main building; the bathrooms have soft towels and invigorating showers. Food is a real treat here - the eggs for breakfast are contributed by the resident hens. In addition to the elegant dining room, a guest lounge, with deep leather sofas and a wood-burner, is provided.
