Kingsmuir House was built in 1855 and is set in a slightly elevated position to the south west of Peebles, just a few minutes' walk from the high street. This period building still boasts many of the original features, and the decor and furnishings are in keeping with its character. Hospitality is warm and genuine; and the bedroom suites are generous in size and beautifully presented with many thoughtful extras provided as standard. The en suites are also a feature, with walk-in showers and free-standing roll-top baths available. Dinner can be requested in advance and is well worth the 'night in'. If you want to bring your own wine this will be happily prepared and served on your behalf. Gardens are pleasing to the eye, and include a delightful summer house. Kingsmuir House was the AA Guest Accommodation of the Year for Scotland 2015-2016.
