Good food and warm hospitality characterise Harton Farm. This comfortable old stone farmhouse on the fringes of Exmoor lies hidden amongst fields, trees and gardens at the end of a quite lane. Home-reared, additive-free meat, with fruit and vegetables from the secluded walled garden, provide the ingredients for three course evening meals. Guests are welcome to walk the farm trail of this working, mainly sheep, farm in the company of canine guides. Gold awards from both Green Tourism and Devon Wildlife Trust demonstrate a strong commitment to a sustainable Exmoor. Harton is ideally situated for visiting the many charming villages of Devon and Somerset, as well as numerous historic houses, and wild areas of outstanding beauty.
